About the role
DominicanVest is building an independent research and analysis platform for international buyers and investors evaluating real estate in the Dominican Republic. As a Real Estate Investment Analyst, you will help assess individual properties, developments and investment opportunities using structured research, market data and financial analysis.
Your work will contribute directly to the investment reports and research used by our clients to understand pricing, expected returns, developer quality, location dynamics, costs and relevant risks before committing capital.`
What you will do
- Research and evaluate residential real estate projects across the Dominican Republic.
- Analyse property pricing, payment structures, ownership costs and comparable market data.
- Review rental assumptions, occupancy expectations, operating costs and projected investment returns.
- Research developers, development history, project status and relevant risk indicators.
- Assess location specific factors including infrastructure, tourism, accessibility, supply and future development.
- Identify inconsistencies, unsupported claims and material information gaps in property marketing materials.
- Translate complex findings into clear, structured investment analysis.
- Maintain and improve internal property, developer and market intelligence.
- Contribute to DominicanVest research reports, methodologies and analytical frameworks.
What we are looking for
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Ability to evaluate financial information and investment assumptions critically.
- High attention to detail and a strong preference for evidence over marketing claims.
- Ability to communicate complex findings clearly in written English.
- Comfort working independently with structured research processes.
- Interest in real estate, investment analysis, market intelligence or financial research.
- Ability to work with spreadsheets, datasets and digital research tools.
Nice to have
- Experience in real estate analysis, investment research, finance, consulting or market research.
- Knowledge of the Dominican Republic or Caribbean real estate market.
- Experience analysing rental property economics or real estate development projects.
- Spanish language proficiency.
- Experience working with financial models, property datasets or business intelligence tools.
- Familiarity with international property investment and cross border buyer considerations.
